STRIDE empowers UK engineering and manufacturing companies to make smarter, more informed design decisions. Since 2008 we have helped clients overcome their toughest engineering challenges and build strategies to strengthen their engineering design process with the right blend of expertise, software solutions, and insight.
We are problem-solvers at heart. Whether you need to meet time-to-market demands, struggle with limited resources, need to increase productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, or limit expensive prototypes, STRIDE combines deep engineering expertise with industry-leading software to help you move forward with confidence.
At STRIDE, every project begins with a clear understanding of your engineering challenge. We then apply our tailored solutions to help you overcome them. From conception to validation, we work alongside your team-ensuring effective knowledge transfer and setting you up for long-term success.
We understand engineering, not just software. We are engineers that solve problems.
From requirements gathering to validation, our structured approach ensures reliable results you can act on.
We solve today’s problems while building resilience for tomorrow by embedding preventive strategies into your design process.
Our strong client relationships are built on a clear understanding of your needs and priorities, paired with a strategic mix of smart solutions and expertise.

YASA is at the forefront of eMotor innovation and development, our axial flux electric motors and controllers provide the greatest efficiencies and highest power and torque density whilst being smaller and lighter than traditional equivalent radial flux competitors.
To achieve class leading performance we must have the best possible lubrication and temperature management systems, combined with a strong understanding of heat and fluid flows in our eMotors.
The simulation work we have done in partnership with STRIDE (formerly EnginSoft UK) has allowed us to develop novel solutions and push the boundaries of motor performance. STRIDE’s collaborative and flexible approach fits well with YASA’s fast moving innovative culture.
Their excellent understanding of our requirements and of their own tools has allowed us to quickly develop technologies in a way that supports this approach and enhances our capabilities.

Hewland Engineering operates across multiple sectors including Aerospace and Defence, Automotive, Marine, Transport, and Manufacturing, where the ability to fully understand product behaviour is essential for innovation.
It was a new project that required a new approach to gain a deeper understanding of product behaviour which was difficult to achieve with previously used tools and methods.
Since then, the Moving Particle Simulation solution, Particleworks, available from STRIDE (formerly EnginSoft UK), has been invaluable in ensuring lubrication management is properly addressed, helping us optimise performance from the outset. With their additional solutions and expertise from STRIDE, we have also started using Flownex, and while we are still assessing its full potential, it has already helped with early design calculations and system checks.
The support from STRIDE has been exceptional, guiding us through processes and helping us implement methodologies and gain the insights we need to ensure our transmission systems meet the demands of their intended applications in the various sectors. Their quick response times and expertise have enabled us to adopt Particleworks with ease and to make improvements efficiently, helping us to continue delivering innovative solutions to our customers.

At Waters, quality is paramount to developing innovative analytical instruments that enable our customers to make profound advances worldwide, in healthcare through to environmental and water quality. As a result Waters strives to provide a pioneering portfolio of solutions to ensure significant breakthroughs can be achieved.
The real benefit of working with STRIDE (formerly EnginSoft UK) was that they really understood the nature of the relationship we were looking for. They have become a partner in our development and have provided much more than training in the use of a software package.
The potential benefits we have gained from solutions provided by STRIDE are quite widespread, essentially STRIDE have helped us to develop a capability that we didn’t have before which has the potential to completely change the way that we design and manufacture our products. With improved engineering understanding, performance and quality at a lower manufacturing cost.

As part of our ongoing development of next-generation automotive systems at Romax Technology, we faced the challenge of validating a completely new design concept. The design was based on theoretical understanding alone, with no existing physical examples to benchmark against and no analytical methods capable of providing meaningful comparison.
To progress with confidence, we needed a solution that could deepen our understanding of product behaviour and allow us to validate design variants before committing to costly prototypes.
Working with STRIDE (formerly EnginSoft UK) to adopt Particleworks enabled us to evaluate modified designs within practical project timeframes. The simulation results showed excellent correlation with prototype test data, giving us clear evidence to support our innovative approach. Particleworks’ speed and flexibility have allowed us to evaluate design tweaks rapidly, leading to prototype savings and improved overall product performance.

At Drive System Design, we specialise in the rapid development of next-generation electric and hybrid powertrains, internal combustion engines, and associated technologies. In a rapidly evolving industry, maintaining a competitive edge requires accurate and precise technical insights and robust engineering methodologies.
Particleworks, supported by the expertise of STRIDE (formerly EnginSoft UK), has enhanced our design and development processes. By delivering representative visualisations of complex fluid flow regimes, accurate estimates of drag torques and power losses, as well as reducing simulation turnaround times by up to 90%, it has greatly increased our engineering efficiency and enriched the quality of our designs.
These improvements have not only optimised product performance, they’ve also reinforced the trust our customers place in our solutions. Using Particleworks, we’re able to provide exceptional value, driving innovation and excellence in every project we undertake.

Steve Vick International are proud of the strong reputation we have developed for delivering innovative product development and cost saving solutions. In order to deliver such cost savings we identified, with STRIDE (formerly EnginSoft UK), that our own manufacturing costs could be reduced through better design specifications.
Since the GD&T Training provided by STRIDE we have revised 30% of our latest drawings to improve product design and quality allowing our manufacturing suppliers to understand our design intentions avoid unnecessary cost.
